Meet the Author
Gary B. McGee was a leading historian in the Assemblies of God Fellowship,
serving as Professor of Church History and Pentecostal Studies at the Assemblies of God
Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri. He authored seven books, edited and contributed
to three books, wrote chapters in fifteen books, and published forty-one journal articles and
129 articles in twelve historical and theological dictionaries. He was also a frequent
contributor to other publications.
