The Human Right Journey Small Group Kit

Are you ready for the journey?

If you’re looking for quick and easy evangelism methods for your youth group, keep looking. The Human Right Journey isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s for those who are ready to get messy—the kind of messy that only happens when students start pursuing Jesus to the fullest extent of their ability. Packed with gospel-sharing concepts that are accessible to everyone, The Human Right Journey is ideal for students hungry to share their faith as well as those who have never really thought about what they believe. Four sessions explore—
  1. The Greatest Injustice points to everyone’s right to know Jesus.
  2. The Gospel covers core beliefs and spiritual journey stages that draw people toward faith.
  3. The Power of Prayer shows students how God can guide their relationships.
  4. The Necessity of Words pushes believers beyond silence to make Jesus known.
Everything you need to move students further on their journey toward Jesus and sharing Him with others is included. With The Human Right Journey, you’ll get all this and more:
  • Focus on heart transformation, not just salvation
  • Candid student examples and inspiring teaching led by Heath Adamson and Rice Broocks
  • Challenging, easy-to-lead lessons with hands-on assignments in the Leader Guide (PDF download)
  • Step-by-step actions for sharing your faith in What Matters Most? A Survey of Human Rights (PDF download)
  • Reusability-Revisit this study as your group grows or each year as everyone moves further on their journey
This download includes
  • 4 - Video sessions (MP4)
  • 1 - Leader’s Guide featuring 4 sessions (PDF download)
  • 1 – What Matters Most? survey (PDF download)
Helping students follow God’s lead to share their faith won’t be quick, and it won’t be easy, but what it will be is life-changing. Are you ready for the journey?

Meet the Authors

At the age of seventeen, Heath Adamson’s life was dramatically transformed by an encounter with Jesus. Steeped in drug abuse and the occult, he came to believe in Christ for salvation. Heath’s dramatic salvation experience has led him to serve in multiple leadership roles with global influence. He is intrinsically involved with the World Evangelical Alliance Youth Commission and chairs Empowered21’s Next Gen Youth-Leaders Network. He is also the national leader for a ministry serving more than half a million students.

He holds an MA in leadership from Evangel University and is a PhD candidate in religious studies at Chester University. Heath and his wife, Ali, and their two daughters currently reside in Springfield, Missouri. Together they endeavor to leave a legacy for generations to come.

Rice Broocks is the author of several books including Every Nation in Our Generation, The Purple Book (Biblical Foundations), and his newest release, God’s Not Dead. He also authored THEGODTEST, an evangelism tool that helps facilitate dialogue on the critical issues of faith, skepticism, and the meaning of life-leading, ultimately, to a presentation of the gospel.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mississippi State University, a master’s degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, as well as a doctorate in missiology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.

Dr. Broocks lives in Franklin, Tennessee, with his wife, Jody, and their five children.
